The faculty and staff of the Prothro-Yeager College of Humanities and Social Sciences cordially invite you to join us for the Spirit of the Mustangs Graduate Walk on Friday, May 15th. We will assemble in the PY foyer between 2:30 pm and 3 pm for refreshments, then we will depart PY at 3:15 pm and walk as a group to the Spirit of the Mustangs plaza. Remarks will be given by Dr. Haynie and Dr. Brown Marsden at 3:30 pm. A reception will follow in Clark Student Center Comanche Suites. Your family is welcome to attend. We hope to see you this Friday!

English majors Grace Pfaffle and Eli Carter with Alissa Russel (Special Collections Librarian) and professor Todd Giles at the Celebration of Scholarship, where Grace presented “A Magazine of Verse: Examining Harriet Monroe’s Open Door Policy and its Effect on Poetry Publication” and Eli presented “A Snapshot of Progress: The Progressive Tactics at Play in McClure’s Magazine during the Turn of the 20th Century,” both written in Dr. Giles’ Midwest Modernism class last fall.

🍕Tuesday: 10/28: Pizza, Profs and Prose (Join Dr. Blakeslee and Dr. Pearson for an afternoon of writing. Bring your laptops, and we'll provide pizza!)

👨‍🎓Wednesday, 10/29: Learn about our MA program (and get a fee waiver to apply!)

🔎Thursday, 10/30: College Quiz with Dr. Ashbrook (come for the trivia, stay for the prizes!)

☕Friday, 10/30: Bagels and Coffee all morning in the History Department Office!
