Thank you Dr. Jay Price and team for a wonderful walking tour last Saturday. We visited Newton Kansas and toured the Harvey County Historic Museum, then strolled the railroad corridor and learned of cattle trade, the arrival of the railroad and Mennonite immigrants. After a wonderful tour we had lunch at Cadillac Jacks Steakhouse. Another fantastic tour.

Confections of a Midnight Baker: Spooky Cookie Decorating Fun
Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies? Amy with Confections of a Midnight Baker is here to help! In this 1.5-hour beginner friendly class, we’ll cover the basics to sugar cookies, do some piping practice with royal icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you’ll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron). Join us for an adventure in cookie decorating and let your imagination run wild as you create amazing holiday treats.
