On this Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and the ongoing journey toward justice and equality.

In honor of this day, we’re showcasing a piece of history from Special Collections: a section of the program from Dr. King’s funeral. This artifact reminds us of the impact of his words and actions.

🎄 Celebrate the Holidays with Lloyd Foltz 🎨

Lloyd Foltz was a Kansan artist known for his stunning lithographs, illustrations, and architectural drafts. His work has been displayed everywhere from Wichita’s East High School to the National Gallery in D.C.

The Lloyd Foltz Collection at Wichita State Special Collections and University Archives features over 100 original pieces, along with personal correspondence and autobiographical writings, offering a glimpse into the life of this talented artist.

Paws & Relax was a huge success last week during finals! 🐾 Thanks to everyone who joined us for some much-needed stress relief.

A big shoutout to our amazing partners, TRIO Disability Support Services at WSU for collaborating with us to make this event possible. And of course, we couldn’t have done it without the wonderful therapy dogs from Love On A Leash!

You all made finals a little easier to handle.
