✨ Megan Bohensky: Empowering readers. Supporting teachers. Advancing educational practice. ✨

Join us in celebrating Megan Bohensky on reaching this incredible milestone in her Ed.D. journey! 🎉

Serving as a Federal Programs Coordinator and Reading Specialist in the Sullivan County School District, Megan’s work is grounded in strengthening literacy instruction and supporting educators as they navigate the evolving role of technology in today’s classrooms.

📚 Her dissertation highlights this important work:
Teacher Autonomy and Self-efficacy Related to Technology Use While Teaching Reading in the Elementary Classroom

As technology continues to shape learning environments, Megan’s research explores how teacher confidence and autonomy influence the use of technology in elementary reading instruction. Her work provides meaningful insight into supporting educators while improving literacy experiences for young learners.

Megan’s work was guided by her dissertation chair, Dr. Stephanie Wasmanski, and supported by committee members Dr. Cooper, Dr. Reinert, Dr. Demetros, and Dr. Lamson.

💬 Megan shares:
“Writing a dissertation is a marathon, not a sprint. It's not how strong you start, it's how strong you finish.”

That’s perseverance. That’s dedication. That’s the spirit of the Wilkes Ed.D. 💙💛
