Is everyone ready to play Bingo?

Every semester, we host a reading challenge at Pardue Library, and we are switching things up this fall. Instead of a list of books to read from, we are going to play Bingo. Read any book fitting the criteria in the spaces, and once you get Bingo, let a librarian know, and your name will be entered in a prize drawing.

~ Hint: One book can be used for multiple squares to increase your chances at Bingo. So, if you read a fantasy book over 500 pages with a blue cover, that covers three spaces!

Stop by the library and grab your Bingo Card!

It has been a sad week for language learners everywhere—Duolingo’s beloved mascot, Duo the Owl, has flown their final flight. Known for their unwavering dedication (and sometimes intense reminders), Duo guided millions on their language journeys with persistence and charm. Here at Pardue Library, we are honoring Duo’s memory by continuing to provide services for language learning. For those looking to continue their studies, Transparent Language Online offers a supportive and customizable way to learn, honoring the spirit of the owl by helping learners reach their goals—without the pressure, but with all the passion. Fly high, dear friend.
