Neurodiversity Initiative Fundraiser - W&M’s Neurodiversity Working Group, Studio for Teaching & Learning Innovation (STLI) and Care Support Services are working together to provide support to faculty who aim to make their classes more inclusive for neurodivergent students.
Your contribution will support:
Paying students to join faculty and staff in offering presentations offered to departments and programs aimed at educating faculty about how to support neurodiversity in their classes.
The appointment of Student Neurodiversity Ambassadors who will provide support to individual or small groups of faculty by giving feedback on digital accessibility or syllabus design specific to neurodiversity.
Fund Name: Neurodiversity Initiative
Fund Allocation: 3854
Purpose: Provide programmatic support for the Neurodiversity Initiative, including but not limited to training & mentoring for W&M faculty, staff & students, bringing expert consultants & speakers to campus & researchers to talk about neuroscientific research.
