Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 at what is now DePauw University as the first Greek-letter fraternity for women. We value our history and take pride in our four founders, who were truly amazing women. Our alumnae group is an organization that provides a rewarding membership experience based on our core purposes and values. Our purpose is to support members to grow as individuals while cultiv

ating meaningful relationships with our Theta sisters. Our core values are personal experience, friendship and sisterhood, scholarship, service and leadership. Our alumnae group is currently undergoing a revitalization effort and we're are here to help you reconnect to Theta. Many Theta alumnae call Williamsburg home, and we would love the opportunity to meet you! We hold a variety of events for members throughout the year, such as a Founder's Day brunch, Holiday Party, and adopting a family for the holidays. We also hold various happy hour/dinner gatherings that are open to any Williamsburg are Theta alumnae, regardless of whether they have paid dues.
