Tickets are on sale now for the Triangle Suite Concert Sunday, October 4, 2026, in the Concert Hall at the Music Arts Center. Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with an extraordinary program of piano music by Virginia composers, highlighted by the world premiere of The Triangle Suite by Williamsburg composer Fred Strong. Performed by internationally acclaimed William & Mary faculty pianist Daniel Inamorato, the program also features works by William & Mary composer Eric Lyttle and other distinguished Virginia composers.

This piece was specially commissioned by the Office of the Arts at William & Mary to honor Virginia’s Historic Triangle. The Triangle Suite is the first musical work created to commemorate this iconic region for the nation’s semi-quincentennial. The five-movement composition weaves together history, landscape, and contemporary artistry into a compelling musical portrait that celebrates the enduring legacy and natural beauty of Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown.

You've heard of the famed classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, but did you know his sister, Maria Anna “Nannerl” Mozart, was also a musical child prodigy? 🎹

Her forgotten story takes center stage when “The Other Mozart,” an acclaimed one-woman play created by Sylvia Milo, comes to Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall on Oct. 3 as part of the William & Mary Presents! series.

The show comes with a special campus connection: Joshua Rose, assistant teaching professor of theatre, previously served as the lighting designer and technical consultant for the international tour of “The Other Mozart,” helping shape the visual world that has become one of the production’s most celebrated elements.

“Being able to share this production, with its long life and international reach, with students is an honor. Just as the words have been translated for different languages, the lighting design has had to adapt to different spaces.” Rose said. “The work demands collaboration, innovation and adaptation, all of which are central to how we approach performance at William & Mary.”
