What a difference a year makes!
This time last year, our advisory board visited the site that would become Gates Hall. This week, they got to walk through its halls. After a day of reflection on the success of GRI under its new model, board members saw a glimpse of its future through a tour of our soon-to-be home.
Robert M. Gates Hall will bring together six centers and institutes focused on international development, conservation, foreign policy, national security, and statecraft—including several that originated at GRI. By uniting students and faculty across disciplines, the hall will help advance research that addresses real-world challenges.
We’re proud to share this milestone with our board and equally proud to have Global Scholars Program student Amy Tsanga ’29 speak at the dedication ceremony.
