The use of any tool—whether an anonymous app or social media—to create a hostile environment for an individual or the broader community is unacceptable and we join the many students, staff, and faculty disgusted by the behavior that took place last night. If you have information about who made the posts, please provide that to the identified individuals. Ephs treat each other with respect and we hold our friends accountable when they do things to harm others. In the moment, please downvote and report anonymous posts to the app itself, while talking actively with your social circles about how you expect them to behave online even if they think no one can identify them.
