Eastern's Women Center This is the official page for the Women's Center of Eastern Connecticut State University.

The Center hosts interactive workshops, guest lectures, and panel discussions throughout the year that cover a variety of topics: healthy relationships, gender representation in the media, positive body image, social justice campaigns, and self-care techniques. While the Womenโ€™s Center focuses primarily on issues affecting women, the Center is striving to better address the issues that men and gender non-conforming students face as well. To this end, the Womenโ€™s Center often collaborates with organizations like M.A.L.E.S., F.E.M.A.L.E.S., N.O.W., and the Pride Room. In line with Easternโ€™s mission of providing students with an experience that is academically and socially enriching, the Womenโ€™s Center is also a primary connection to the Sexual Assault & Interpersonal Violence Response Team. This team, known as the SAIV-RT, responds to all forms of interpersonal violence, including but not limited to sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking. The SAIV-RT can explain reporting options, provide advocacy and counseling, and address other campus concerns such as housing accommodations or academic intervention.
