Eastern's Intercultural Center This social media site is maintained by Eastern Connecticut State University and constitutes an official University communication.

Content is managed by a University employee. The Intercultural Center finds its home in the Arthur L. Johnson Unity Wing of the Student Center. This strategic location is critical to serving the diversity needs of all Eastern students, achieving the vision of drastically improving minority academic success, connecting international and national exchange students to vital resources, and supporting commuter students in their unique academic needs. As the physical infrastructure of Eastern Connecticut State Universities continues to expand with the state-of- the-art facilities, ground is being broken for another expansion happening behind the scenes. A renewed focus on creating awareness and appreciation for diversity and improving the academic experience and success of multicultural, international, national exchange, and commuter students will result in exponential growth in each of these student groups. We are building bridges to a better Eastern Connecticut State University, building bridges across ethnicites, building to better futures, and building bridges to a better you!

The first installment of the Blueprint Series was one to remember! We were honored to welcome Sofia Bishop, Product Manager at YouTube, for a conversation led by IC Ambassador Eden Bullard. Sofia shared her journey from student leadership at Clark University to working with some of the world’s leading companies, while discussing what it means to navigate corporate America as a young Afro-Latina, remain authentic in professional spaces, and turn leadership experiences into career success. Thank you, Sofia, for sharing your story, wisdom, and encouragement with the Eastern community! 💙
