To complete her journey to the UNCW Center for Marine Science, she will be shipped through the Panama Canal and then to Florida.

Once in Port Everglades she will be launched again and our AMAZING crew will bring her up the coast to Wilmington. Just a guess here ... we are all ready to see her come through the inlet!

Yes, there will be celebrations, and we will share more details soon!

Play on the beach all day!
Please protect sea turtles by being a responsible beach goer.
βœ… Fill in holes - turtles and hatchlings can get trapped
βœ… Flatten sandcastles - helps nesting turtles get to the dunes
βœ… Keep beaches clean - never litter
βœ… Turn off ocean facing lights - they can distract nesting turtles

Thank YOU for helping to protect sea turtles and our ocean!
