Alpha Phi is a sisterhood that was founded in Syracuse, New York in 1872. The Eta Xi chapter is located at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of women supporting one another in lifelong achievement.

Dear Katie,

From the moment we first met, we were already laughing together like we had known each other forever. You are one of the sweetest, most genuine, and caring people I know, and you never fail to brighten my day. Thank you for always supporting me, making me feel loved, and creating so many fun memories with me. I couldn’t have asked for a better big, role model, or friend. You are someone I can always come to talk to and trust, and I am so lucky that I get to call you my big. I love you so much, and I can’t wait to keep making memories with you for years to come.

“I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to study abroad in Paris and travel throughout the South of France to start off my summer! Being able to experience different cultures, meet new people, and learn about the French school system was such a beautiful and rewarding experience that I will never forget.
