Congratulations to Dr. Lydia M. Walker on her appointment as the Marie and Leman Barnhill Endowed Chair in Religious Studies.

Since joining Barton in 2021, Dr. Walker has inspired students through her interdisciplinary teaching and internationally recognized scholarship. In her new role, she will continue advancing research, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and creating opportunities for students and the community to engage with leading scholars through public lectures and programming.
