Our Hawaii Travel Study group went to Volcanoes National Park to learn about the public health implications of gas emissions and particle spew (called tephra) from an eruption.

They witnessed an historic event: episode #48 (the most ever recorded from one eruption) from the Kilauea event that started in December 2024.

On Friday, April 10th, the Movement Science Club participated in Relay for Life, an event that raises funds for cancer research. Tickets were sold for vertical jump testing, a reaction game, and bone health assessments.
