Juneteenth National Independence Day reminds us to celebrate freedom, reflect on our history, and keep working for justice and equality for all.

At Winona State University, the Office of Equity and Inclusive Excellence honors this day as part of our commitment to supporting every student and creating an inclusive campus community.

As we mark the end of slavery and honor the generations who fought for civil rights, we also reaffirm our promise to advance equity and belonging today and every day.
