Proof that Entrepalooza was packed with talent 👀

From Deacon Springboard to Startup Lab, this year’s participants brought incredible energy, bold ideas, and ventures that impressed all day long. We loved celebrating our student founders throughout the 10th anniversary of Entrepalooza, and honestly, we’re still not over these moments.

In our penultimate Coric Family Speaker Series session this year, Claude Bragg and Cody Cater of UpNext returned to the Wake Forest Center for Entrepreneurship to share the importance of building a strong network.

Through the connections they’ve made, both during their time in the program and beyond, they’ve been able to learn from other entrepreneurs and apply those insights to their own journey.

One of our favorite parts of Entrepalooza is the table sessions, where student founders connect directly with attendees. It’s a chance to share the story behind their ventures, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights that can help shape what comes next!

At last week’s Coric Family Speaker Series, leading up to Entrepalooza, Dane Barnes of Shibumi Shade reminded students that there’s no such thing as a perfect product. Instead, he emphasized that the real work lies in learning, adapting, and improving along the way. Embrace the process as you build something meaningful!

10. The number of years Entrepalooza has been celebrated and the number of ventures that took the stage for Startup Lab last Friday.

After months of building, testing, and refining, these students stepped up and delivered.

10 strong pitches. A packed room. A standing ovation. And the energy didn’t stop there, it carried into one-on-one conversations as founders connected directly with attendees at their tables.

This is what it looks like when the work pays off!

27 students. 23 ventures. 10 years of Entrepalooza.

Deacon Springboard students showed up in a big way Friday, delivering impactful pitches to a packed Pugh Auditorium. Their ventures spanned industries and reflected a wide range of opportunities ready to be explored.

We’re excited to see how they build on this momentum moving forward!

Here. We. Go.

The 10th anniversary of Entrepalooza kicked off with a bang this morning. Deacon Springboard students wowed a packed crowd with their ventures, and the stage is set for Startup Lab to do the same this afternoon!

Last week at the Coric Family Speaker Series, Brady Wilson encouraged students to say yes to opportunities that push them outside their comfort zone.

His advice: trust the process, because when you take a step back and reflect, you’ll realize you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

What if a high-protein snack could be both clean and actually enjoyable to eat?

That’s the idea behind Meeska, founded by Michelle Martinkov in Startup Lab. Inspired by a centuries-old Eastern European staple, Meeska reimagines farmer cheese into a high-protein snack made with clean ingredients and minimal processing. With a richer, smoother texture than cottage cheese and more protein than yogurt, it’s designed for today’s consumer in a convenient, ready-to-eat format.

Hear Michelle introduce her venture as we count down to Entrepalooza this Thursday!
