Before we launch into another exciting year, we’re taking one more look back at an incredible 2025–2026. 🚀

From hosting our first Fall Pitch Competition to celebrating 10 years of Entrepalooza, last year was filled with big moments. We watched students develop real ventures, pitch their ideas, and bring their entrepreneurial mindset to events and opportunities across the Wake Forest community.

And if last year was any indication, 2026–2027 is going to be one to remember. We’re ready for what’s next.

Tyler refined Abstractus through Deacon Springboard before taking the stage at Entrepalooza. The AI-powered platform helps researchers streamline systematic reviews by screening thousands of abstracts, giving them more time to focus on the research that matters.

We're excited to follow Tyler's journey and continue sharing the ventures built through Deacon Springboard.

Meet Jenna Ryan, founder of frae.

Jenna refined her venture through Deacon Springboard before pitching at Entrepalooza. Built on the belief that healthy food should be just as craveable as it is nourishing, frae is bringing a fresh take to better-for-you snacking.

DAWER Goods creates beautiful, durable products from recycled Meridian solid surface, giving premium materials a second life through thoughtful design.

This summer, student Lindsay Gaynor is spending time in Croatia working with a nonprofit that removes plastic from the ocean and transforms it into new products, including sunglasses, tables, benches, and more.

It's always inspiring to see our students applying their skills and passions to create positive impact in communities around the globe.

Twenty-three ventures. Endless possibilities. 🚀

This year's Deacon Springboard group photo feels a little like an I Spy page 👀 and we wouldn't have it any other way!

We were thrilled to have such a large, motivated group of students spend the semester exploring opportunities, validating ideas, and turning concepts into compelling ventures. From first brainstorms to the Entrepalooza stage, they showed what's possible when creativity meets action.

We loved watching these ideas come to life and can't wait to see where they go next!
