Tax filing season is now under way and 1098-T forms are available online!

Please take a few minutes to check out our website, which includes a comprehensive video that explains the tax form, how to get one and how to send proxy access to others.

Student Financial Services wants to make you aware of a significant Internal Revenue Service (IRS) mandated change to the 1098-T tax form for tax year 2018.

Congratulations to Sonya Izzard in Student Financial Services for completing the Wake Forest University CORE Program! 🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉

The Wake Forest University CORE Program is a competency-based program for the development of all faculty and staff, with optional certification. CORE stands for "Cultivating our Organization to Realize Excellence."

A celebratory luncheon was held for all recent CORE participants and a beautiful wooden plaque was given to each graduate for their achievement. University Facilities re purposed the plaques from a tree that once stood at the President's house. Congratulations Sonya!

The Student Financial Services team was proud to participate in Hit the Bricks today! We love any opportunity to get out and enjoy our beautiful campus, interact with our awesome students, and be involved in an amazing event raising money for cancer research!!

A huge thank you goes to everyone who came out to spend "An Afternoon with SFS!" We enjoyed seeing several students and colleagues from around campus! It was a beautiful afternoon and we enjoyed some cookies and yard games. Continue to encourage students to sign up to receive their 1098-T electronically. Happy weekend, DEACS!

Student Financial Services recently became a Wellspace here at Wake Forest! We are so excited to take this step to help make our department a happier and healthier place to work!! To continue to make our Wellspace THRIVE, we will look forward to tackling a fitness goal each week, working to eat more lunches away from our desk, and incorporating stretching and breaks into our staff meetings. We are excited that Samantha will be our Wellness Ambassador and will continue to work to help make us better!
