Today, Winston-Salem State University had the distinct privilege of welcoming Governor Josh Stein and local county leaders to our brand-new Science Building for a powerful Health Sciences Press Conference.

Our Nursing Students had the incredible opportunity to immerse themselves in our state-of-the-art Simulation Lab, where there being equipped with the skills they need to excel in real-world healthcare settings.
Our Simulation-based learning provides a safe and controlled environment for students to practice critical thinking, teamwork, and clinical skills. From high-fidelity mannequins to interactive scenarios, our lab allows us to simulate a wide range of patient experiences, enhancing our student’s ability to respond effectively in actual clinical situations.
Our students are displaying confidence and competence as they navigate through challenging scenarios. The SOHS Nursing department is working hard to bridge the gap between theory and practice by preparing our students to deliver compassionate, high-quality care within the Healthcare System.
