A fabulous time hosting the Petrasek Duo at UNCSA! 🪈 🥁

Big thanks to Joe Petrasek (Principal Percussionist of the Atlanta Symphony) and Jessica Petrasek (Faculty at Georgia State University) for sharing their music with us! 🎶

Also, what an amazing masterclass with Joe! 🤩 We explored everything from vectors to snare drum rolls, and ever-evolving charts investigating what works best for each person 📊 🧠 💪

Such a pleasure!

To kick off the year - we have nine AMAZING guest artists who will be joining us for masterclasses, lessons, to play chamber music with the students, run mock auditions, share their life stories, career coach our young artists, bring a showstopping concert, rock out on a concerto, and more! 🤩🥁🪘💙

We can’t wait to host them! 🫶

Sunbathing with our bellies full for our end of year studio party! 🌞

We’ve got expert grill masters, bakers, and cooks among us 🧑‍🍳 We enjoyed many delightful foods, including a Balkan-themed collection of meals (ćevapi, lepinje, roasted peppers, kiflice - special shoutout to Garrett for cooking on the spot)!

An amazing end to an awesome year! 🎉
