From a solid block of purpleheart to a finished anniversary keepsake.
This custom ring bowl began as a dense piece of raw hardwood and gradually took shape through cutting, routing, sanding, engraving, and finishing. The intertwined A + G monogram was created specifically for the couple, turning the bowl into something more personal than a simple jewelry dish.
The finished piece measures approximately 5¼ inches across, with a gently rounded rim, recessed center, and a clear gloss Osmo Polyx-Oil finish that brings out the depth and shifting color of the purpleheart grain.
It was a small project in scale, but one filled with careful details, from the custom engraving on the inside to the Dulak Designs maker’s mark underneath.
