On August 24th, we held our 8th annual New Student Convocation! It was filled with pride, connection, and community as our newest students were welcomed by faculty, students, and keynote speaker Jim Laurie.
A special thank you to Laurie as he spoke about the power of generosity and caring for others. He encouraged students to turn to one another and take a selfie, illuminating our Penn State Berks pride.
WE ARE excited for the new year and new beginnings for our students.

We had an amazing Move-in Day at Penn State Berks! 🎉 A huge thank you to WFMZ-TV for capturing the excitement as our newest Nittany Lions arrived on campus. It was inspiring to see first-year mentors, resident assistants, faculty, and staff come together to welcome and support our incoming students. Plus, one of our Penn State Berks families was featured in a special interview! 🦁💙

The campuses say there will be a lot of activities over the weekend for the students to get familiar with the people and the area they now call home.

Even without many of our students on campus during the summer, we've had a busy season here at Penn State Berks! We had a great time hosting students from Reading and Berks Catholic high schools for Mayor Moran's Summer Youth Program, where some of our current students and recent alumni discussed all of the opportunities Penn State Berks offers and the unexpected doors that were opened during their time here. 💙🤍
