Marion County Master Gardeners Marion County Arkansas Master Gardeners to promote the beautification of Marion County. Educational programs are also high on our list of priorities.

Master Gardeners are people from all walks of life who have an interest in gardening, a willingness to learn and a desire to help others solve their gardening problems. We function under the auspices of the Marion County Extension Office, a division of the University of Arkansas. Our mission is to provide information to the public about gardening needs and procedures. Also, we have several project

s throughout Marion County which beautify the area. 🌱 Let’s Grow Together at the Marion County Library!

Whether you’ve been gardening for years or are just figuring out which end of the trowel goes in the dirt, you’re invited to join us for a FREE gardening program presented by the Marion County Master Gardeners!

Do you love gardening, want to learn from University of Arkansas experts, and enjoy giving back to your community? Now is the perfect time to join the Marion County Master Gardener Program!

• 40 hours of research-based horticulture training

🌾 Fresh & Baked Goods Late Entries
Items: Horticultural, field crops, and baked goods
Date: Tuesday Morning, August 25th
Time: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM

We had a great educational presentation Saturday on Berries that grow well in Arkansas from Searcy County Extension Agent Clyde Fenton. Clyde also owns Fentons Berry Farm in Harrison. We learned about strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries.

Our next meeting will be Saturday, August 8th.

The 2026 Plant & Bake Sale is in the books! And .... it was the BEST one we've EVER had! Truly! Our community Always shows up for us - even in a gully-washing thunderstorm! Thank you So So So much!

You're all invited to our next meeting on May 9th at 10am at the Marion County Fairgrounds - our free educational program will be Tanya Boozer - clinical herbalist and owner of Mountain Granny's in Leslie.
