For generations, Camp Glisson has been a place of reflection, connection, and community… and now it’s time to gather again with fellow YHC alumni and families.

With great sadness, we share the news of Amber Ketcham Moody’s passing. She was a member of the Class of 1999. During her time at Young Harris, Amber was a beloved Susan B. and a founding member of the YHC Women’s Soccer Team in the Fall of 1997.

Amber’s husband, Ryan Moody, also attended Young Harris and is a member of the Class of 1998. Although we rejoice that Amber has risen in Glory and experienced the healing that she knew awaited, our hearts are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

Mrs. Amber Ketcham Moody age 45 of Bell Gap Rd. Hiawassee passed away peacefully on Friday November 15, 2024 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Moody was born on April 20, 1979 in Powder Springs, GA., the daughter of Mike Ketcham and Karen Gay Ketcham. Amber

If your heart is Mountain Lion Purple, we encourage you to give this Alumni Weekend. Any amount no matter how small contributes to current YHC students and their success. For that reason, all who give this weekend will receive a purple heart sticker to wear proudly and to showcase what color their heart truly is. Let's make this contagious! 💜

ATTENTION ALUMNI!! Crane Creek has limited parking! Therefore, we highly recommend carpooling if possible. We do have overflow parking locations on the property, but with the high number of Alumni in attendance we would like to keep the number of individual vehicles to a minimum. Thank you and we can't wait to see you all there this Saturday!
