The Office of Alumni Engagement is partnering with the Office of Admissions to create a unique evening connecting YHC alumni with prospective students and their families.

We are seeking alumni support for the Gainesville Connection Event on October 8 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Gainesville Civic Center! The evening will feature a alumni panel, heavy appetizers from Bourbon Brothers, and one drink ticket - plus plenty of opportunities to reconnect with fellow Mountain Lions and welcome future members of the YHC community.

We’re currently seeking alumni sponsors (typical range $50-$150) to help make this special event affordable for our alumni community & free for prospective students. Sponsors will be recognized on event invitations sent to local alumni and will receive a special ribbon at the event.

🎶 YHC Night at Acoustic Sunsets! 🌅 💜

Join fellow YHC alumni and friends for a special evening at the beautiful Hamilton Rhododendron Gardens in Hiawassee, GA.

The Acoustic Sunsets concert series is free and open to everyone in the community, but YHC is creating a special semi-private gathering space for our alumni and friends. ✨

🎓💜 ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Logan Foley ’26

From Young Harris College to the Cosmic Baseball Tour! ⚾️🌎

For Logan Foley ’26, YHC was where a passion for sports media became a career.
During his four years at Young Harris, Logan worked as a Sports Information Student Assistant, beginning in broadcast before transitioning to videography and digital media. That experience helped him discover his passion for filming sports and laid the foundation for his career after graduation.

Before his final semester, Logan took an internship with the Tri-City Chili Peppers, working home games and six Cosmic Baseball nights. That opportunity eventually led to a full-time position with Cosmic Sports and the 2026 Cosmic Takeover Tour, a 30-city journey across the United States.

Now, Logan spends his weekends on the road capturing Cosmic Baseball from unique perspectives, from running the bases with players and flying his FPV drone to creating content for social media, stadium video boards, and major brands like Rawlings. 🎥🔥

Along the way, he’s visited incredible places including Niagara Falls, Yosemite National Park, and historic Rickwood Field. 🌎

Logan’s advice to current YHC students? Get involved. The experience and connections you gain on campus can be just as valuable as your degree.
