Making an impact beyond the classroom 🐧🤲

YSU business students in the Student Nonprofit Leadership Organization awarded a $2,000 Pay It Forward grant to Clothed In Strength, a nonprofit supporting single mothers in the local community.
The Pay It Forward initiative offers valuable real-world experience in philanthropy and nonprofit management while helping students develop leadership and decision-making skills.

A few weeks ago, some of our WCBA students traveled to the NASA Glenn Research Center to gain firsthand experience in government contracting and federal procurement. 💼🚀

The visit gave students the opportunity to connect what they learned in class with real world applications through tours, briefings and hands on exposure to research facilities. Many of the students will now move into paid internships through the Ohio Procurement Internship Program, continuing to build their experience in this growing field.
