YSU Cliffe College of Creative Arts Cliffe College of Creative Arts at Youngstown State University provides a dynamic learning environment in the creative arts.

The Cliffe College of Creative Arts serves as a cultural center for the YSU campus and the Mahoning Valley. Each year, the College hosts over 400 events including dozens of art exhibits, eight major theatrical productions, and more than one hundred musical events. Academic programs combine theoretical and practical offerings giving students the opportunity to augment traditional classroom activities with internship and laboratory experiences.

✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Spring 2026 Graduating BFA Exhibition Opening Reception!

Last Friday, the Spring 2026 Graduating BFA Exhibition opened at the McDonough Museum of Art, showcasing an inspiring and powerful collection of work from our graduating artists! We had a wonderful evening celebrating their creativity, growth, and vision. 👏

Be sure to visit the exhibition at the McDonough Museum of Art, where the work will remain on display now through Saturday, May 2. 🐧

Tonight is opening night for “Kiss Me, Kate”! 🎭 Get to know members of the cast as they share character deep dives and give exclusive insights into the magic behind the scenes.

You can see “Kiss Me, Kate” from April 16 – 19 at YSU's Ford Theater, and showtimes are Thursday – Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available at ysu.tix.com, and YSU students get free tickets with valid YSU ID. 🐧
