Digital Media, Cinema, & Journalism Studies - EMU Within this program, students will receive hands-on experience through Eagle Radio, EMU Today, ESPN, E-TV, and the Eastern Echo.

The Digital Media, Cinema Studies, and Journalism program are in the school of Communication, Media, and Theater Arts at Eastern Michigan University located in Ypsilanti, MI. The Digital Media, Cinema Studies, and Journalism program (also known as DMCJ) gives you the opportunity to work and learn from award-winning instructors who are professionals in television, radio, and journalism. These oppor

tunities that the students receive allow them to enter the professional world more prepared and with more experience than most people their age. It allows them to stand out from their fellow competitors and makes them feel more ready than ever to tackle any problem that comes their way in the working field. The DMCJ program has realized early on that college is not all about books and lectures, but the real-life experiences you get while here and they have made it their mission to help prepare as many college students for the professional world in both knowledge and hands-on experiences. At Eastern Michigan, you are not just a college student, you are a writer, director, producer, on-air talent, and all the other jobs that go into making electronic media productions.
