While we at Eastern Michigan University are on fall break this week, let's take a time travel trip back to the not-so-distant past!

Kristen Ellert-Sakowski, the visiting professor of design at EMU, gave a guest lecture in AMA 240: Managing the Creative Process. This class helps students learn how to develop creative ideas and answer the question of what is creativity?

Kristen's lecture covered the process she goes through as a scenic designer to get an idea from concept to final product. This lecture took students out of the classroom to tour some of our facilities on campus such as the scene shop, the costume shop, as well as venue spaces like Legacy and Sponberg, where at the time, Metamorphoses was being built!

Thank you Kristen for such a wonderful lecture and experience!!!
