EMU Housing & Residence Life Welcome to the official page for Housing & Residence Life at Eastern Michigan University.

Housing consists of 12 Residence Halls with capacity for more than 3,000 students and 4 different apartment complexes with 450 apartments available for students, faculty, and staff. We provide and oversee all hall staff for support and enhancement of the student experience, including various programs monthly, to encourage engagement within the hall communities.

We compiled some of our frequently asked questions, such as placing work orders, what do when you’re locked out, or what activities we have to offer for our residents (P.S., follow EMU Residence Housing Assc. for fun events and giveaways)!

Yesterday, we welcomed so many of you that chose to live on campus with us for the year. While it’s been hectic, we loved seeing everyone settle in and move into our halls 💚

Without all of you, campus would be a completely different place. Thank you for making EMU your second home. 🦅

Today is day two of move-in weekend! If you see our marketing team, make sure to say hi! And if you ever have any trouble during the day, never hesitate to pull our staff aside and ask for help.

Our staff has worked hard to make sure your first days on campus are the best they can be. We are so excited to have YOU here with us in what will be your second home 🦅

If you have any questions during move-in, never hesitate to ask someone wearing a EMU Housing shirt! And if you have fun photos of move-in, make sure to tag EMU Housing & Residence Life!
