A volunteer charity organization founded and leaded by Nun Thich Nu Minh Tinh, Quang Chau Foundation was constituted in Jan 2010 based on Quang Chau pagoda's charity activities.

It is now the family for 113 people, including 105 children of 02 day to 18 year old and 08 old women of over 70. These children are some orphanised, some abandoned by parents, some disabled some miserable family, found abandoned in hospital, in front of Quang Chau pagoda, some sent by parents, grant parents or relatives. These children were adopted into Quang Chau Foundation aging from 01 hour old to 15 year old.
Quang Chau Foundation activities at preaent are
- Supplying permanent, shelter, food, healthcare to homeless, abandoned, orphanised, disabled and miserable family children and old women of over 70.
- Sending adopted children to public school with its raised budget.
- Supplying charity vegitarian food twice/ month on 01 and 15 day of Lunar calendar every month.
- Making monthly charity relief( once per month) to remote and poor area in Central of Vietnam.

Thanks to Quang Chau Foundation, first adopted children in 1997 now become Senior university students, later joining 04 got high school graduation in 2012, many being sent to high, secondary and primary schools.Many children were in fatal disease when first adopted to using Chau Foundatipn have been growing up. Through 15 years since the first children were adopted, the foundation now is giving family for 113 people with an area of 1000 m2 constructed.

History of Quang Chau Foundation
1940: Quang Chau pagoda was initially built by Master Monk Tran Hien.
1940- 1995: Quang Chau pagoda was managed by Master Tran Hien until he passed away in 1995
Jan 1996: Nun Thich Nu Minh Tinh was nominated by Danang's Buddhism Association to be Quang Chau pagoda's administrator.
Apr 1997: 03 first children were adopted.
2007: accepted to take care of first old woman.
2008: officially constructed as Quang Chau Foundation.

Current project: Newly building standard toilet zones separately for children and old people on an area of 200 square meters, valued vnd 400.000.000

Future developments: "Quang Chau Foundation would become an open family for all street, abandoned, orphanised, disabled, miserable family children where, beside true compassion, shelter, food, healthcare, standard educational courses and vocational career training will be given to equip them with knowledge and career for their later living" Nun Thich Nu Minh Tinh expressed her touching plan.
