Giữa nhịp chuyển mình của thời đại hội nhập, những câu chuyện văn hóa địa phương vẫn luôn hiện diện trong từng nếp sống, ký ức, con người và vùng đất mà chúng ta gắn bó. Đó không chỉ là những giá trị cần được gìn giữ, mà còn là những câu chuyện cần được kể lại, đối thoại và lan tỏa bằng góc nhìn mới của thế hệ trẻ.
Trong hành trình đó, Tiếng Anh mở ra một nhịp cầu để những câu chuyện rất gần, rất địa phương có thể bước đến những không gian rộng lớn hơn. Từ tinh thần ấy, English Debate Contest 2026 | ĐÀ-BATE chính thức ra đời như một sân chơi học thuật dành cho những bạn trẻ yêu thích tranh biện, mong muốn rèn luyện tư duy phản biện, khả năng lập luận và năng lực diễn đạt bằng tiếng Anh.
Không chỉ là một cuộc thi tranh biện, ĐÀ-BATE 2026 còn là nơi mỗi thí sinh mang theo câu chuyện văn hóa của mình để chia sẻ, bảo vệ và lan tỏa. Mỗi lập luận, mỗi góc nhìn và mỗi phần tranh biện đều là cách để người trẻ tự tin cất lên tiếng nói của mình bằng tư duy sắc bén, cảm nhận riêng và tình yêu dành cho văn hóa địa phương Đà Nẵng.

Để tạo điều kiện cho nhiều nhóm thí sinh tham gia và phát huy thế mạnh riêng, ĐÀ-BATE 2026 được tổ chức với 02 bảng thi:

📍 Vòng loại: 21/05/2026 - 29/05/2026
📍 Bán kết: 01/06/2026 - 14/06/2026
📍 Chung kết: 15/06/2026 - 27/06/2026
Tại Vòng sơ loại, thí sinh/đội thi sẽ thực hiện bài dự thi theo hình thức video, trình bày quan điểm về một chủ đề liên quan đến văn hóa địa phương. Các thí sinh/đội thi xuất sắc sẽ tiếp tục bước vào Vòng Bán kết với hình thức tranh biện trực tiếp, trước khi tiến đến Vòng Chung kết - nơi những tiếng nói bản lĩnh nhất cùng tranh tài trên sân khấu lớn.

In an era of connection and global exchange, local cultural stories continue to live quietly in the rhythms of everyday life, in memories, people, and the places we call home. They may be found in a familiar dish, a beloved accent, a long-standing festival, or simply in the way young people look at where they belong with pride and affection.
Yet culture is not only something to be preserved. It also deserves to be retold, discussed, and shared through the fresh perspectives of young people. In this journey, English becomes a meaningful bridge that allows deeply local stories to reach wider spaces, while empowering young people to share their voices with international friends and communities.
Inspired by this spirit, English Debate Contest 2026 | ĐÀ-BATE is officially launched as an academic platform for young people who are passionate about debate and eager to strengthen their critical thinking, argumentation skills, and ability to express ideas in English. More than a debate contest, ĐÀ-BATE 2026 is a space where each participant can bring their own cultural story to share, defend, and spread. Every argument, perspective, and debate performance becomes a way for young people to raise their voices with sharp thinking, personal reflection, and a genuine love for the local culture of Da Nang.

To create opportunities for different groups of participants and allow them to make the most of their strengths, ĐÀ-BATE 2026 will be organized into 02 divisions:

📍 Preliminary Round: 21/05/2026 - 29/05/2026
📍 Semi-final Round: 01/06/2026 - 14/06/2026
📍 Final Round: 15/06/2026 - 27/06/2026
In the Preliminary Round, participants/teams will submit a video presenting their viewpoint on a topic related to local culture. Outstanding participants/teams will advance to the Semi-final Round, where they will take part in an offline debate, before moving on to the Final Round, where the most confident and compelling voices will compete on the main stage.
