This lecture brings together distinguished scholars and practitioners to discuss how public spaces can be designed and adapted to address climate challenges, promote social inclusion, and enhance everyday urban life.
Speakers:
• Prof. Kelly Shannon – Fieldwork and Learning from the Everyday Public Realm
• Prof. Bruno De Meulder (KU Leuven) – Exemplary Street Reprofiling for Global Warming & Inclusion: Strategies from Paris
• Dr. Pham Thai Son (VGU) – Toward Resilient and Inclusive Public Space in Urban Planning and Development
The program also includes an interactive session applying the APST framework (Activity – People – Space – Time) to explore practical approaches to adaptive and inclusive public space design.
