Advising the Rector on scientific research and management, international relations, scientific and consulting services in economics and law, administering research activities, developing and managing international relations according to international law and conventions. Responsibilities
Planning scientific research, applying scientific findings, promoting scientific research and a
pplication;
Perfecting regulations and internal budgets for scientific research activities;
Receiving and deploying scientific projects and schemes at the National, Ministry and Ho Chi Minh National University, local and university levels. Accordingly, managing the implementing process and evaluating scientific projects related to economics, administration and law;
Collaborating with related units, extending international relations in scientific research to receive orders, bidding for scientific research and projects;
Advising and transferring scientific findings related to economics and law, domestic and international, to the National Party, the government, local authorities, and manufacturing, business and service entities;
Being a standing member of the Committee for Scientific Research and Training;
Collaborating with related units in organizing scientific workshops and conferences; concluding and awarding scientific activities;
Guiding, managing and proposing measures for promoting students’ scientific studies, hosting students’ conferences on scientific research at the University level;
Designing curriculum and administering international relations activities, extending relations and developing diversified modes of cooperation, promoting international relations to consolidate international relations traditions and developing new ones;
Managing and administering the allotted international relations projects for scientific research and training activities, preparing legal documents and procedures for operating licenses of new programs and projects;
Preparing, hosting and recording the exchange sessions between the School and international delegations; collaborating with other units in composing meeting contents and documents for international relations for the Rector’s approval; receiving, composing, translating and sending documents, mails, phone calls for the School’s international relations; Translating academic transcripts, degrees and certificates issued by the School into foreign languages;
Collaborating with other units in hosting conferences and meetings regarding international relations; conducting workshops on activities of delegations or individuals designated for overseas business trips;
Storing and managing data, materials and files related to international relations according to current regulations; administering international relations activities of units and individuals within the School; Collaborating with other units in managing international students;
Preparing immigration procedures; setting up agenda, contents, and time for international delegations’ visits; receiving and arranging accommodation, work, sightseeing tours for the convenience and safety of foreign visitors properly; receiving and preparing gifts for foreign visitors;
Overseeing the operation of centers, manufacturing, business and service bodies within the School;
Synthesizing and reporting scientific research activities and international relations properly;
Collaborating with the Quality Management Unit in evaluating the quality of the Office;
Deploying and collaborating with other units in coping with issues arising from the establishing and developing process;
Effectively managing and using labor, facilities.
