The School of Communication & Design at RMIT Vietnam is pleased to formalize our partnership with Rue Miche through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a shared commitment to industry‑engaged learning and the development of Vietnam’s next generation of fashion entrepreneurs.

This milestone marks the introduction of MADE, the first Vietnam Fashion Incubator, under the awarded RMIT Vietnam Strategic Innovation Challenge - where education, creativity and industry practice intersect to take Made-in-Vietnam local brands to global stages.

The collaboration was brought to life through a partner-led branding workshop hosted at the dynamic space of Rue Miche L’Édition, offering RMIT students and established brand founders hands-on industry insights in a real retail and brand environment.

𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐲 - 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐞𝐧 🎓

“When I look out the window, I see the curricula—the codes that design the next generation of Vietnam's leaders. The question is whether we train students to view the planet as a resource to be exploited or a partner to be sustained.”

As an Associate Professor in Prfofessional Communication at the School of Communication and Design, Dr. Long Nguyen focuses on the “Invisible Architectures of Education” His work explores how curricula intersect with economic acceleration and the urgent need for a sustainable mindset in higher education.

Dr. Nguyen’s research moves beyond theory, focusing on empowering educators in emerging countries like Vietnam to embed Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their daily teaching. By redesigning the DNA of existing curricula, he aims to turn every discipline into a vehicle for ecological survival.

Dr. Nguyen believes that if we can successfully integrate sustainable education in high-growth, dynamic environments like Vietnam, we can create a scalable model for developing countries everywhere.
