🏗️ Future Civil Engineers Take the Spotlight

The Department of Civil Engineering proudly presents the Final Thesis Oral Defense of its Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering students—an important academic milestone that highlights their research capability, technical competence, and commitment to addressing real-world challenges.

The presentations span the five major clusters of Civil Engineering: Construction Engineering and Management, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Water Resources Engineering. These studies reflect a strong integration of sustainability, innovation, and technology—ranging from advanced construction materials and infrastructure systems to disaster risk reduction, transportation planning, and water resource management.

📅 Schedule: April 22 – May 4, 2026

📍 The sessions are open to a limited number of student observers (5 per session) and are open to all Civil Engineering students. Third-year students are especially encouraged to attend to gain valuable insight into the research process and how theoretical knowledge is applied to real-world engineering challenges.

We invite everyone to support our students as they demonstrate how engineering knowledge can be transformed into meaningful solutions for safer, more resilient, and sustainable communities.

📢 BSCE INTERVIEW SCREENING RESULTS

The following application numbers are qualified for admission to the BS Civil Engineering program after undergoing the interview screening.

Note: This list only includes applicants who were required to undergo interview screening. Applicants who previously met the department’s criteria were already accepted.

Nakab-ot sa Caraga State University (CSU) ang 80% passing rate sa ilang unang batch sa March 2026 Civil Engineers Licensure Examination, diin 16 ka estudyante ang nakapasar.

Kini nga kalampusan nagpakita sa kalidad sa edukasyon sa CSU ug sa dedikasyon sa ilang mga estudyante ug magtutudlo.

Sumala sa CSU, ang maong kalampusan resulta sa padayon nga paningkamot, disiplina, ug dedikasyon sa mga estudyante, kauban ang suporta sa faculty nga naghulma kanila isip mga propesyonal nga andam moatubang sa tinuod nga panginahanglan sa komunidad.

Gitan-aw sa City Government of Butuan ang kalampusan sa CSU isip kabahin sa padayon nga pagpalambo sa human resources sa syudad, diin ang bag-ong mga civil engineers adunay dakung papel sa pagpatuman sa mga proyekto sa imprastraktura ug sustainable development.

They proudly emerge as the first Golden Paddlers of the March 2026 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination (CELE), achieving an outstanding first-time takers’ passing rate of 80%, far surpassing the national passing rate of 35.05%.

Marking a historic milestone, this pioneering batch of the university’s Civil Engineering program sets a strong foundation of excellence for the department and inspires future generations of civil engineers.

Caraga State University celebrates the success of 16 new licensed Civil Engineers who triumphed in the March 2026 board exam. Achieving an impressive 80.00% passing rate with its pioneering batch, which far exceeds the national average of 35.05%, CSU continues to demonstrate excellence in engineering education and a steadfast commitment to producing top-tier professionals.
