Thank you to everyone who joined our very first event of 2026!
Although it was a small gathering this time, it made the conversations all the more meaningful. We found ourselves diving into some pretty thoughtful topics — from growing up as third-culture individuals to navigating career paths and life transitions. It was one of those evenings where the depth of conversation mattered more than the size of the room.
It was also lovely to welcome a new alum to the community — we hope to see you again soon!
And a temporary goodbye to Jiwon as he heads off to Tokyo. Wishing you all the best for this next chapter — we hope you’ll connect with the Tokyo UniMelb alumni and settle in smoothly.

Thank you so much for joining us at our final event of 2025. It was truly wonderful to meet everyone, and your presence made the gathering all the more meaningful. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to be with us.

📢 Open Positions at University of Melbourne Alumni Network Korea

We’re excited to announce that the following two positions are now open:

- Event Planner / Coordinator
- Banner / Logo / Merch Designer

These roles offer a great opportunity for students or early-career professionals to expand their portfolios, while senior professionals can contribute through meaningful skills-based volunteering.

The work you do will be directly used across our upcoming MUANK events, shaping the visual and organisational identity of our alumni community.

We’re preparing a new banner for the University of Melbourne Alumni Network in Korea, using a standard commercial banner format. This banner will be used across our future events, so it’s important that the design aligns well with the identity and tone of our alumni community.

You don’t need to be a professional designer — but we would greatly appreciate someone with a good sense of aesthetics, familiarity with design tools, or simply an eye for clean, coherent visual work.

If you’re willing to contribute your talent to help shape something we’ll use for years to come, please reach out to us at [email protected].
