Project Incubator is back March 7-8. Two days to turn your idea into a clear, executable plan. Leadership and sustainability go hand in hand! At this year’s Leadership Retreat, we fueled our minds and bodies with Fairtrade snacks — a small but meaningful way to support farmers, ethical production, and global equity.

On Oct.15-17, the Career & Transition Services department at BU hosted the annual Leadership Retreat at Jouvence in Mont Orford National Park. Twenty-three students from a wide range of programs and backgrounds came together to explore their leadership strengths, build connections, and grow as changemakers. Each participant brought their own unique gifts and perspectives- it was such an inspiring group!

We were honoured to have incredible BU staff and faculty share their wisdom throughout the weekend, including Shawna Chatterton Jerome (also a co-organizer), Katie Bibbs, Dr. Vicki Chartrand, Vicky Boldo, Dr. Heather Lawford, and Dr. Rebecca Harries.

A huge thank you as well to our amazing alumni presenters- Enzo Evangelisti, Christina Lépine, Marioulou Perron-Chouinard, and Sabrina Binta-Koné- for returning to inspire the next generation of BU leaders.

And finally, special thanks to Émilie Beauchamp, a current BU student who joined our team as an intern to help plan and support this year’s retreat.
