TWU faculty feature prominently in the September 2025 issue of the peer-reviewed academic journal of the Canadian Scientific & Christian Affiliation / American Scientific Affiliation Perspectives on Science and Christian Faith. Dr. David Clements is the guest editor of the special "Reconciliation Ecology Theme Issue", and you can read his editorial athttps://www.asa3.org/ASA/PSCF/2025/PSCF9-25Clements.pdf (as well as his earlier call for papers in the September 2024 issue athttps://www.asa3.org/ASA/PSCF/2024/PSCF9-24Clements.pdf ). Also, Dr. Sam Pimentel is the author of "Have You Seen the Storehouses of the Snow? Glaciers in the Anthropocene" and to access that embargoed article, you need to be a member (student membership is free) or find it in a library or wait until September 2026. (Did you know that TWU Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences is an institutional member of ASA?)

Join TWU students, staff, and faculty on Friday, Sept. 29 for a Day of Learning ahead of Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Sept. 30).

Please wear an orange shirt, and you are encouraged to bring a new pair of children’s shoes that will be used in ceremony during Opening the Circle.

We encourage all FNAS students to attend, as we foster greater knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures and our shared history, and walk together in this reconciliation journey.
