The objectives of IMT- Sirajganj are to use an innovative approach to :
� To develop a Comprehensive Maritime Education System for nation and produce skilled maritime manpower for both national and global needs.
�To maintain continuous supply of highly skilled professionals to our shipbuilding industry, providing quality education and training on ship design and construction.
�To make a window for

the extension and outreach programs by which IMT-Sirajganj will maintain collaboration with international maritime community in terms of maritime education and training.
�To maintain continuous development of programs and course contents to cope up with the changes in marine technology and meet industrial trends.
�To provide productive employment, imparting vocational and technical training on different trades for local youth, and promote self-reliance.
