Justisse College International Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner (HRHP) Training , Fertility Awareness Training, Natural Birth Control, Menstrual Cycle Charting App
(467)

The Justisse Method of Fertility Awareness was first developed in 1987 in response to an expressed need for natural birth control training and support that would give women the information and guidance they need to manage their reproductive health practices and decisions on while respecting their rights to make their own choice. From this foundation, Justisse has evolved into a centre for holisti

c health care that tends to all aspects of women's health -- both physical and psychological -- as it relates to our reproductive selves. Justisse supports a Naturopathic and Complementary Medicine approach to managing health problems and enhancing reproductive health. Justisse Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioners (HRHP) are professional reproductive health care providers. They are well grounded in knowledge of human sexuality, basic counseling, and all methods of birth control; they are committed to reproductive health education. Justisse practitioners are trained to respect the ethnic and cultural diversity and the ideological and religious beliefs of their clientele. Justisse believes in empowering women with a well founded knowledge about and an awareness of their bodies and reproductive systems. This awareness helps women better understand themselves and make sound health care decisions.

Recent conversations on fertility tracking have highlighted a critical distinction: not all tracking practices are grounded in evidence, nor do they equally support reproductive autonomy.

A recent article published in Health Affairs calls attention to the growing gap between algorithm-driven fertility technologies and clinically grounded approaches to reproductive health—particularly in relation to data ethics, transparency, and justice.

At Justisse College International, menstrual cycle charts are approached as clinical records, interpreted through physiological literacy rather than predictive algorithms or consumer data models. When grounded in evidence and ethical practice, menstrual cycle charts support informed decision-making instead of surveillance or simplification.

Engaging critically with these conversations is essential for those working at the intersection of fertility awareness, education, and reproductive ethics.

Inspired by an article published in Health Affairs.

If fertility awareness is entering the public conversation, it deserves to be represented with precision.

At Justisse College International, menstrual cycle literacy is health education — science, not ideology.
It is about equipping people with the knowledge required to make autonomous, informed decisions about their reproductive lives.

We will continue to hold this work with rigor, care, and responsibility.

A look back at the final day of the Justisse Conference in Colombia — what a joy it was to be together, sharing with so many who hold the same passion for reproductive health. 🌿

Our closing session was truly special, 💕with Chloe Skerlak and Genevieve Rajoy sharing their experiences of bringing cycle awareness to young people in their communities and around the world — projects filled with wisdom, creativity, and expansion.

🕯️We ended with a beautiful ceremony of to***co, fire, and gratitude — a moment of grounding and reverence to close our time together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us.
We’ll remember this circle — and each of you within it. ✨

🎥Thank you, , for bringing these memories to life so beautifully.

Day 4 of our beautiful Justisse Conference began with Anne Liljedahl .regenerativehealth , a physician from Sweden who chose to deepen her understanding of reproductive health and is now one of our Justisse graduates. She spoke about the profound transition of — an initiation into wisdom, presence, and embodied change.

It wouldn’t be a Fertility Awareness gathering without a focus on the luteal phase. Our dear Lisa offered holistic insights on this essential stage, and seeing the connection between Lisa Leger and Geraldine Matus filled the room with warmth. Their decades of dedication to the Justisse Method continue to inspire us all.

Later, Carolina Saldarriaga invited us to explore Matrescence — the deep transformation of becoming a mother — while Dr Elisa Barza shared how her Justisse training has shaped her medical approach to reproductive health. Building bridges between Fertility Awareness and medicine is not only possible, but essential for the future of Cycle Health.

We ended the day with Salomé, a Justisse graduate from France, who reminded us of “the transformative potential of psychedelics and ethnobotanical substances in healing sexual abuse survivors.” 🤍The day closed in full celebration with Holly’s Burlesque workshop, a vibrant call to reclaim joy, body, and fire. 🔥
