The NAAP Villamor SSC and Student Academic Organizations have released a joint statement in light of the Special Board of Trustees Meeting for the first NAAP Presidential Election, which will be held on May 26.

The statement calls for inclusive and meaningful student representation in this historic institutional decision that will shape the future of the Academy.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗘𝗧 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

As this term comes to a close, 𝙬𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙙 to showing a 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 we have completed throughout the year. Every event was initiated to create countless opportunities that benefit the students, develop the organization, and even serve beyond our institution through community development.

During the reaccreditation period 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, the AET Student Organization only had 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝟏𝟕 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘴. We managed to pull it off with 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 excluded from the submitted PNPs 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝟭𝟬 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟱 𝙢𝙖𝙟𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.

These were accomplished to be an achievement for 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 as the 𝙤𝙗𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 of these held events were all in relation to the 𝘼𝙫𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙨 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢. Moreover, we have been able to invite successful 𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬 as 𝘨𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳𝘴 who truly support our initiatives and inspire us to become like them in the near future.

AETSO President Roy Miguel D. Garrido delivered his State of the Student Body Address today, reflecting on a semester defined by service, resilience, and student-centered leadership.

More than a presentation of accomplishments, this year’s SOBA stood as a testament to the collective efforts, sacrifices, and dedication of the AETSO community in continuously upholding integrity, discipline, and purpose as future aviation professionals and leaders.

As AETSO moves forward into a new chapter under the National Aviation Academy of the Philippines, the organization remains committed to building a generation of leaders who will serve not only their institution, but the nation itself.

As part of the AET Student Organization’s continued commitment to community development, we proudly share another milestone under the 𝗔𝗘𝗧 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 3.0—an initiative dedicated to strengthening the hands-on learning experience of both present and future Avionics students.

This term, the AETSO has successfully acquired an additional 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 designed to further develop the technical skills and real-world competencies of every Ka-Avio. More than just equipment, this represents a step forward in bridging knowledge with application—preparing students for the ever-evolving aviation industry.

Currently under development, the trainer is set to be fully operational before the start of 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 2026–2027—ensuring that future batches will benefit from enhanced learning opportunities.

As part of our commitment to properly recognize student involvement and achievements, the Office of Student Affairs will be issuing certificates to graduating students in acknowledgment of their participation in academic organizations, socio-cultural activities, and sports.

This initiative is primarily intended for AAET 2nd Year and BSAET 4th Year graduating students.

We recognize that many of our students have contributed meaningfully—not only as officers in academic organizations, but also as Junior Officers. Likewise, many have represented the institution through various socio-cultural engagements and sports activities, with some having received awards and recognition for their efforts.

In line with this, all concerned graduating students are requested to accomplish the designated survey form.

This undertaking aims to systematically document and formally recognize your contributions and accomplishments from your first year up to the present. The information gathered will serve as the basis for the issuance of official certificates.

We strongly encourage everyone to provide accurate, complete, and verified information. Coordination with respective organizations and activity heads is highly advised to ensure consistency and integrity of all submitted records.

Last April 18, the Aviation Electronics Technology Student Organization (AETSO) successfully conducted "KAMAY MAHUSAY: Electrical Wiring and Interconnection System Seminar" at the Multipurpose Hall, Bldg. B. This specialized training brought together our second-year AET students for an intensive look into the intricate world of aircraft maintenance proving that mastery in the lab leads to safety in the skies.

The seminar focused on the essential best practices and regulatory considerations required in handling and maintaining aircraft electrical wiring systems. We were honored to have 𝗠𝘀. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻 𝗚. 𝗛𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗲 as our guest speaker, who shared her professional expertise and insights. Through her guidance, our future technicians gained a deeper understanding of the high standards of the aviation industry, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle complex interconnections with precision.

This impactful learning experience would not have been possible without the dedication and leadership of the 𝗔𝗘𝗧𝗦𝗢 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲. Their commitment to providing high-quality technical seminars continues to empower the AET community.

The organization also extends its sincere appreciation to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗠, AET Coordinator and AETSO Adviser, for her unwavering support and guidance in making this event a reality. Her dedication to the professional growth of AET students serves as a constant inspiration to strive for excellence in our craft.
