THE RAPTURED CHURCH
IN HEAVEN
Jesus tells us plainly,
“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is YOUR REWARD in HEAVEN.”
Matt 5:11-12
Paul also teaches a special crown for those of us who are looking for and longing for His appearing ..
“Finally, there is laid up for me the CROWN of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have LONGED FOR HIS APPEARING.”
2 Tim 4:15
Jesus not only promises us rewards in heaven, but says our citizenship is in heaven, and He is preparing a place for us there, and will raise us UP and make us SIT in the HEAVENLY PLACES!
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In MY FATHER’S HOUSE are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that WHERE I AM, THERE YOU MAY BE ALSO. And where I GO “YOU KNOW” and the way YOU KNOW.”
John 14:2-4
Do we know where, and the way? JESUS tells us in the next verse ..
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to THE FATHER except through Me.”
John 14:6
And Where is the Father? He tells us .. Our Father who art IN HEAVEN ..”
“For our CITIZENSHIP is IN HEAVEN, from which we also eagerly WAIT for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will TRANSFORM our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body”
Philippians 3:20
And HOW it will happen .. He catches us “UP.”
“The Lord HIMSELF will descend from HEAVEN with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ WILL RISE first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds to meet THE LORD IN THE AIR. And thus we shall ALWAYS BE WITH THE LORD. Therefore COMFORT one another with these words.
