We would like to invite you to join our residence and its proud heritage which we have built since 1978, we are proud to call our self the best Male Residence on campus. Veritas has established itself as the leading residence, being well balanced on the sport, cultural, academic and social fields.
Having won the following:
• Best Sport Male Residence: 2006 – 2013
This has been achieved by winning 12 of the 16 sports on campus (this is a 75% winning margin, which no other residence has achieved since), the other 4 sports we achieved the 2nd and 3rd positions
• Best Cultural Male Residence: Recently winning 2008, 2010,2012 and 2013
• The Cultural Trophy includes the National Serenade Champions, which we have won in 2010, recently representing as winners of campus serenade in 2008, 2010,2012 and 2013
• Best academic Residence 2013
• Best Managed Residence: 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010
• And the list of achievements carries on and on and should be experienced for yourself, by being a dedicated member of our residence and its heritage
• By you building on our heritage, one will create a heritage for future members and set a standard for others to see and to strive towards
As RC Prime and RC First Years we would like to invite you to come and register from the following dates and times, depending on your arrival at Bloemfontein Campus.

Your Kovsie and Veritas experience and will start on Sunday, 19 January 2014. Please be at Veritas Residence at 16:30.
This will be the start of the “In-bly-week” (The stay in week for the 1st years and RC Members). This is a mandatory event and has to be attended by all 1st Years; this week is for ALL 1st years.
The week is set out for all the first years to get to know campus and attend planned events, by campus and residences. The week will include inters (dances, getting to know the ladies of the female residences, etc.), vlotbou, 1st Years Athletics, 1st Years Gala, and more exciting events.
The 1st Years registration fees for the residence will be R350-00. This includes the administration fees for the Residence Registration, 1st Years Golf Shirt, Veritas Trucker Cap, pen and ruler, Veritas Tie, Veritas Water Bottle and sun glasses. If you may have a problem with the amount, feel free to contact the RC Prime and RC 1st Years for further arrangements.
There are additional clothes and gifts to order like-

And a hole lot more.....
The supplies needed for the week are as follows:
1. Mattress: Either blow-up, camping mattress, fold-up, etc.
2. Bedding: This includes a blanket, pillow, sleeping bag, etc.
3. Toiletries: For showering at Veritas; towel, shower gel, shampoo, gel for looking suave and impressing the ladies, cologne, etc.
4. Inter clothes

1st Letter of your name, emulate the meaning or how you apply your letter to what you are wearing

5. Formal wear for church services: Black pants, black shoes, black socks, black belt and Veritas golf shirt and pullover (Shirt and pullover supplied during registration)
6. Two (2) rings for our “Weddings” with Marjolein and Roosmaryn: The rings are not made of gold, they may be made from plastic, wire, etc. Try to be as creative and innovative as possible, to surprise the ladies
7. Old clothes for “Vlotbou”, we will be painting, etc.
8. Vuvuzelas, noise makers, etc. for spirit building at the RAG Farm, athletics and gala
9. Swimming clothes for inters, etc.
10. Supplies for Chicken Run: This does not mean dress like a chicken, you may do so, it only means that a person needs to look funny, to be able to sell Ritsims, etc. to the public, to raise funds for the less privileged
11. A mug for Coffee
12. Supplies for athletics and swimming meetings: toks, speedo, etc.
The 1st Years should be prepared to play trials for rugby, cricket, hockey, etc. during the 1st week (In-Bly-Week).
