There were a lot of smiles during the 1st camp for the Grade 8s. A few of our Matric leaders also accompanied them on the camp, these were our leaders that will look after our Grade 8s during this year. It sounds like it was a success and I'm sure a lot of happy memories where made.

The newboy's braai was a fantastic evening that further built the relationship between the Grade 8s and Grade 12s. It also gave the chance for our Matric boys to meet the parents of the Grade 8s. Thanks to eveyone who helped organise this evening!

The Sports Day Trophy has been returned to it’s proper home in the Ogilvie Trophy Cabinet after Saturdays thumping of the other houses. Ogilvie won with 320 points followed by Gray 55 Points behind.
The Sports Day Trophy will be joined by it’s brother The Relay Sports Trophy as Ogilivie has for the first time in a long while won both Relay Sports and Sports Day in the same year.

Nobody knows when we last lost the inter-house fencing trophy because it just keeps coming back to the Oggy trophy cabinet every year!
Well done to the entire team for their excellent performances - especially Rob McGregor who was the winner of the individual competition.

This week has seen many outstanding performances from the whole of Ogilvie, and the results prove that this hard work has paid off. Congratulations to every one of the the finalists that played their part in securing Ogilvie's second place in this year's Eisteddfod!

Although we just missed claiming the big owl, we still walked off with the Speech Owl and managed to end Gray's 10 year reign over Music by 3 points - a victory in itself.

Special thanks must also go to the Eisteddfod team that made it all happen!
