1,000 WORKPLACE HOURS. EVERY YEAR.

Workplace experience is not something added at the end of the programme. It is built into every year.

Students record 1,000 workplace hours annually through rehearsals, productions, technical activity, workshop work and the wider operations that keep a theatre and production ecosystem moving.

Those hours build more than a CV. They build habits: arriving prepared, working with others, solving problems, taking responsibility and understanding how creative work moves from an idea to an audience.

WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY STUDY?

Scenario College develops performers through an integrated programme - not a collection of unrelated classes.

Training includes acting, voice and vocal technique, movement, text and performance studies, directing, drama and film language, technical theatre, costume and production practice, alongside business and creative enterprise.

The aim is not to make every student the same. It is to give each performer a stronger craft, a broader understanding of the industry and the practical tools to shape a career.

TRAIN ON REAL STAGES. LEARN BY DOING.

Performing cannot be learned from notes alone. It is built in rehearsal rooms, on stage, in technical sessions, inside workshops and through the discipline of making a production work.

Scenario College students move between class-based training and practical production experience. Semester 1 builds knowledge and technique. Semester 2 places the focus on productions and workplace hours, where students learn through real responsibilities, collaboration and deadlines.

This is not observation from the sidelines. It is training in practice.

AN ACCREDITED 3-YEAR PROGRAMME.

Scenario College offers structured training for performers who want more than isolated classes or short courses.

The Performing Arts & Creative Enterprise Programme combines accredited learning pathways, practical performance training and substantial workplace experience. The programme includes SAQA qualifications 48808 and 48818, with the FISA component in Year 3, and students complete 1,000 workplace hours per year.

It is training designed to build craft, discipline, professional awareness and the ability to create a sustainable life in the arts.
