Celebrating Excellence at the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment Graduation

As we honour the incredible achievements of our graduates, we were privileged to meet some of the exceptional individuals and their families who are crossed the stage with remarkable academic milestones from Doctorates to Masters, Honours and Bachelor's Degrees, including Cum Laude and Dean's Merit awards.

Meet a few of our inspiring graduates:
- Dr Nomihla Ndlela: Awarded a Doctor of Engineering in Electrical Power Engineering, representing the highest level of academic achievement.

- Tawananyasha Diane Hwata: Earning his Bachelor of the Built Environment in Urban and Regional Planning with Cum Laude and a Deans Merit for Academic Excellence.

Session 3 of the DUT Autumn Graduation 2026 was a celebration of resilience, growth and unforgettable moments as our graduates from Electronic and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Architecture officially stepped into their next chapter.

The late nights, challenges and sacrifices were all part of the journey and the journey continues.
