ORGANISATIONS I ASPIRE TO APPROACH FOR MY 6-MONTH EXPERIENTAL LEARNING IN 2021.

I plan to join IkamvaYouth (IY) organisation located in Durban at Umlazi AA section. I want to help learners on their studies and also encourage them about considering studying Intercultural Communications degree which I hope many will like. I choose to do my experiental learning at IY to give back to the community and also practice my communication skills to familiar faces as IY is an organisation I was once an attending learner at.

I have also started a YouTube channel where I'll be giving out workouts to people interested all over the world. This will assist to know and get used to interacting with people in a large scale globally. It will capacitate me to be aware of how I speak to individuals and also large audiences, which is beneficial to my communication skills.

MY EXPERIENCE AND ACHIEVEMENTS FROM 1st LEVEL TILL TO-DATE.

Being in this programme has been a full range of various emotions. Some modules are highly and despicably challenging while some are very much enjoyable. On my 1st year I realky enjoyed the Communication Science module. It has taught me so mjch pros and cons about communicating and all the specifics that are within communication taking place between 2 people.

I managed to pass the module with 70% which made me really proud and happy for myself and also helped me develop love and obsession towards this programme. I als have discovered that has and is very much demanding of my time and focus as it needs days to actually be understood and discussable. But I've learnt to be patient on myself to studies I don't easily understand, so that I digest them unrushed. And as challenging as isiZulu was, I managed to achieve it with 60% which was a relief to me. On this whole programme, I have discovered that every module needs to be revised to pass it with great marks and till today I've been going hard with that MOTO.

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA TO THE PROGRAMME.

Inorder to be accepted in thks programme at the University of Zululand, a minimum points of 28 has to be reached including English 60% and any other language for 40%. This requirement has to be reached mandatorily to be accepted.

It most occurs when large and important cultural differences create dissimilar interpretations and expectations about how to communicate competently. The sender and the receiver have different cultural background.

The purpose of this qualification is focused on those who have ambition on becoming professional communication practitioners and embark on career paths such as : Communication Specialists, Diplomats, Journalists, Interpreters, Public Relations, Television Broadcasting, Advertising, Marketing etc. Practically, everything that has to do with communicating with people and linking globally with TV related matters.
