Energy work and power.

3.1 Energy and energy conservation.
Before work is done, energy must be available.
When work is done, there always take place a transfer of energy fron a source.

e.g: A lorry transporting sand.
Work is done.
Energy transfer take place feom a source (fuel) to the lorry that transfer sand.

: Energy is the ability to do work.

Object(things) can bu judged according to the following criterion, to know whether its has eneegy oe not.
*does the object have height? ( potential energy)
*does the object have velocity of movement? (Kinetic enegry)
*does the object have heat?(heat energy)
*does the object let electric current flow?(electrical energy)
*does the object promote a chemical reaction?(chemical energy)

3.2 Potential Energy

Addition of scalars is done arithmetically:

A vector is a physical quantity with a specific magnitude and direction.

Addition and subtraction are not done as in mathematics: 2N west +2N east = 0N
West is approaching negative direction so 2N west is -2N.... While east is approaching positive direction: 2N east is +2N : (-2)+2=0N

Elijah was able to stop the rain for several years... after that He went to a certain place and ask all gods prophets to come to the mountain.
when they arived he said let us all ask our God to bring light to this wood...God who will be able to bring light is the one we are going to serve.
Well they went there...gods prophet prayed and ask their gods non of the managed to do it.
Elijah said ok now your gods has failed to answer you meaning they are dead. Now its my turn. He look up and said, God, The Almighty God prove your self that you are alive in front of these ppl bring light to these wood.
God in heaven Answers Elijah... they were all amazed and He said to them...All the prophet who couldn't perfom the miracle they must be killed. all of them.
They killed them and their god heard what Elijah did... He requested to kill Elijah Elijah feard Jezebel He ran away.
He forgotten the victories God gave him. He forgotten the power God gave him. heavens obeyed him. When he said. the will be no rain for several year untill i say so, heavens did as he says but now He has forgotten those victories, all the seas he crossed with the Almighty today he is running away because of fear.

BEFORE YOU GIVE UP REMEMBER THE VICTORIES YOU WON ALONG WITH GOD.
